Welcome to the Department of Physics (DoP) SECOMS Swat. I would strive to create an environment in the Department that is conducive for the generation and dissemination of knowledge within the bounds of the University’s Act/Statutes/Rules and Regulations. By doing so, we would not only attract the best students from the local comunity but would also help retain highly qualified faculty. I aspire to seek the help and guidance of all the stakeholders in making the coursework and research work more akin to the regional and national need while maintaining the international scope. I would like to see our physics graduates maintain a high standard of technical skills as well as work ethics. The role of faculty is extremely important in this case.
