BS Education program is specially designed for students seeking to pursue a career in education and teaching. After graduation, our graduates will be able to start their professional career in educational management, Administrative posts like Assistant District Officer (ADO), a subject specialist at professional colleges like Regional Institute for Teacher Education (RITE), Provincial Institute for Teacher Education (PITE), Bureau of Curriculum and Text Book Board as a subject specialist. Furthermore, they can serve as teachers at the school level and as lecturers at university level. Additionally, they will be eligible to get admission in MS and Ph.D. programs of Education.
A Bachelor of Education (B. Ed. or BEd) is an undergraduate professional degree which prepares students for work as a teacher in schools. In some countries such as Tanzania and Kenya, additional tasks like field work and research are required in order for the student to be fully qualified to teach.
